Chasing the Past

Through some cursory census searches I’ve found some names but I’m certainly not sure I’ve found the right people.

The only ML Bernhardt I can find is in Rowan County. She is the wife of PM Bernhardt who is a merchant and is 26. Unsure if I’ve found the correct person or if I can’t read Mr. Thompson’s handwriting!

There are a few D Thompsons in Center in 1880. The only one that I can find that could make sense is a D Thompson who is 28 in 1880 and is a farmer.

I can find many Harris’ living in the are but none who’s name is Sid or starts with an S.
